MTH 121 Vectors, Matrices & Transformations
This is a four (4) credit course done by Mathematics Majors as a requirement for the Secondary Academic Programme at the Cyril Potter College of Education. Please be reminded that your lecturers can only guide you by showing you the path to success. However, it is up to you to put in the required effort to get the results you desire. Course Description
The course is divided into three units: Unit I covers the topic ‘Matrices’, Unit II looks at ‘Vectors’ while Unit III focuses on ‘Transformations’. Geometry and Trigonometry (MTH 111) is a pre-requisite for this course. Practice activities will be outlined in the various units; please do not hesitate to take full advantage of them.
Course Duration
This course is to be completed in 60 hours. Units 1 and 2 are to be completed in 15 hours each and unit 3 in 30 hours. You are encouraged to work in the time specified as close as possible.
